Kusama- Inspired Artwork

This is my artwork inspired by Yayoi Kusama, as well as Alexander Taylor.

I chose the red and white color scheme since Kusama appears multiple times in interviews and articles wearing a red-and-white polka dot dress. 

​

I chose to follow Alex's idea of creating a sort of portal with the circle shape, but I added perspective to the circles to make it look as if was a tunnel to another dimension. 

​

The usage of circles as a portal to another dimension is also a common theme seen throughout Kusama's artwork.
